Tabitha and Charlie have both promised to commit, on the condition they fulfill a Manifesto - a pledge of eight ambitions for the new Millennium. Should they attain them, they will Marry and begin a family. But should it prove their partnership is holding up their dreams, they will call it off and go their separate ways.

Today

25 years later and now stuck in loveless marriages, they re-connect via WhatsApp and look back on all they’d pledged; on good times and in bad and dreams they’d set whilst starry eyed - and realise their gift had not been what they’d always wanted, but was in fact what they’d already had.
